It is reading an article reporting the exchange for the bodies of two babies to the death chamber, at the hospital of la Timone, in Marseille, Marine, 29 years old, and Julien, 26 years old, have decided to entrust their own misadventure in The Provence and France Bleu Provence. The 23 September 2017, this young couple has lost their little girl, aged three days, due to a malformation of the diaphragm.
Two hours after the death, a brancardière went into the room of Navy and his companion, but no moses basket was available to transport the baby's body up to the morgue. The couple then decides to transport himself up to the dépositoire, a death chamber located at the other end of the hospital."people need to know"
"I walked for about a mile with my baby died in my arms, in the sight of all the world," explains Navy to France Bleu Provence. Their ordeal does not stop there, as once in front of the dépositoire, Marine and Julien find that the local is closed and that there was no staff to welcome them. They are forced to wait an hour with their daughter in his arms. "It was next to the garbage cans, sitting on cinder blocks," says Marine on the local radio.
And when a team of stretcher-bearers finally arrives on site to open the door, it denies them access."We were abandoned like that, only on a parking lot, in the midst of suffering... we thought We be in hell or in the middle of a nightmare and hoped to wake us up, but no, all this was for real, and cruel," added the young woman from The Provence."A series of dysfunctions"
Seven months later, the couple is still "angry" and decided to testify, "that it moves", so that "people know what they happened" and are not silent if "something similar has happened to them," says Navy with the two media.
